How to check and square your new Window. Window Install. Part 7
In this short, I show you how I properly set screws in a window. This is a 7th part of a complete window installation series.
To properly set screws in a window, follow these steps:
1. Measure the size of the window to determine the appropriate size and type of screws to use.
2. Place the window in the opening and ensure that it is level and square.
3. Mark the locations for the screws on the window frame.
4. Pre-drill the holes for the screws, taking care to ensure that they are straight and of the correct depth.
5. Insert the screws and tighten them with a drill or screwdriver until they are snug.
6. Check that the window is still level and square, and make any necessary adjustments.
7. Repeat the process for all the screws on the window.
It's important to note that different type of window may have different installation instructions, make sure to check manufacturer's instruction before proceeding with the installation.
