The Reason - Hoobastank//Sub español
Hoobastank es una banda estadounidense de rock alternativo, formada en 1994, en Agoura Hills, California. Está conformoda por el vocalista Doug Robb, el guitarrista Dan Estrin, el baterista Chris Hesse y el bajista original Markku Lappalainen.
En el 2003 lanzan "The Reason", cuyo primer sencillo "Out of Control" se pudo descargar gratuitamente desde su página oficial. Sin embargo, su primer éxito es el sencillo que da nombre al disco, llamado "The Reason", del cual vendieron más de tres millones de copia y es el protagonista de este vídeo.
"The Reason" es un himno de disculpa y redeción, cuya letra refleja un profundo arrepentimiento y el deseo de cambiar por alguien importante. Es una confesión íntima donde el protagonista expone su vulnerabilidad y la necesidad de comunicar su pesar antes de partir.
