Slow Cooker Crockpot Soup Recipe CORN CHOWDER
This Corn Chowder recipe is SO COZY, WARM, and DELICIOUS!! You can make this corn chowder in the crockpot or in a pot on your stove - it's SO EASY! If you love corn chowder, you will love THIS corn chowder recipe - I PROMISE!
CORN CHOWDER RECIPE
2 tablespoons bacon fat
2 tablespoons butter
1 large onion chopped
2-3 carrots finely diced
4 talks celery finely diced
2 cups potatoes finely diced
1 poblano pepper finely chopped
3-4 cloves garlic finely chopped
2 teaspoons cumin
5 sprigs fresh thyme
4 cups corn
smoked sausage diced
1 bunch fresh cilantro chopped
8 cups chicken stock
2 teaspoons pepper
1/2 cups sour cream
2-3 tablespoons flour
1/2 block cream cheese
shredded cheese for topping
more fresh cilantro for topping
hit of fresh lime juice for topping
Total cook time in crockpot - 3 hours on high
