Danger Noodle or Not-So-Danger Noodle?
Hey there peeps! You won't believe what happened on our back porch today!
I stumbled upon a diamond-backed scaly surprise! Snake!
So is it a nope rope or is it a not-so-nope rope?
At first, we were like "Uh oh. Diamond Back?! That's not good!" But after carefully taking a moment, I recognized the breed.
Phew, crisis averted! Of course, we couldn't resist showing off our new slithery friend to you folks, and our son who loves all things critter-related.
As our son would say: Don't forget to subscribe!
It's a friendly little water snake. We saved the snake. Many of the neighbors where I live are terrified of snakes and it's right at that time of year where you hear shots and hear stories later of how they killed the big bad danger noodle...
Neighbors come up to me with dead snakes often and ask what kind it is... or was.
We live in an area with only like 6 (technically 7 but one is REALLY rare) dangerous types of snakes.
I offer to catch the snakes (venomous or not) and relocate them miles away into the woods - and some neighbors take me up on it.
Anyway, caught this friendly little water snake on my back porch and caught a few videos of it before taking it and releasing it later into the woods
