Ave Caesar! As long-time viewers know, this chariot-racing board game is my favourite board game of all time. It was the very first game I did a video on, back in the early days of the pandemic when I was locked-down and bored and did low-quality videos to keep busy. This game deserves better!
There is a new version of Ave Caesar from DiceTree Games, and the designer, Wolfgang Riedesser, sent me an email thanking me for my old video. I thought it'd be a good opportunity to revisit this classic and ask him some questions. He was gracious enough to answer AND send photos of his old prototypes!
