Jack Krime is famous among the citizens of Wendry, Maine for being directly responsible for catching the infamous serial killer, Michael Ridgeway. That gave him fame and popularity. But with fame and popularity, comes enemies. Those enemies began to torment Jack. They tormented him, because many innocent people died because of his actions. Jack couldn’t handle the torment from the classmates and teachers of Renemsmay Middle School and he soon decided to transfer to a different school, with hopes of restarting. Just two months after narrowly surviving his last case, Jack finds himself starting a new life as an eighth grade student of Jepsonburg Junior High School. But he didn't expect that him transferring to this new school, would cause him to meet a colorful cast of new people, that he would later befriend. And among this cast of new, and old, faces, one stands out from them. A girl with silver hair...But not just a girl, but the girl. The same girl that Jack has been seeing in his dreams. And this girl makes him experience a foreign emotion that he can't even begin to comprehend.
