What is a Constitution and why you should get interested.
The Constitution is the contract that binds each citizen to the society in which he lives. It is the legal form of the social contract.
For this contract to be fair, it must not defraud anyone, no more the poor than the rich, and each citizen has equal legitimacy to write it or to propose improvements.
But our so-called present constitution, like the preceding ones, was written by representatives who were careful not to leave this right to the people. This, because they are political professionals, and they are therefore in conflict of interest to write the text which must control and sanction the way in which they represent the people.
It is therefore not up to the representatives to write the rules of representation.
