FTPS (also known as FTP Secure or FTP-SSL) is an extension to the commonly used File Transfer Protocol (FTP) that adds support for the Transport Layer Security (TLS) and, formerly, the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) cryptographic protocols.
FTPS provides connection security through encryption, by using either the TLS or SSL protocols. It is also capable of full support for the TLS and SSL cryptographic protocols, including the use of server-side public key authentication.
Welcome to the world of Cyber Security with the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP). This video will give you an overview of security fundamentals and teach you the skills necessary to become a certified professional.
We’ll cover network security, data security, and access control topics. You’ll learn the principles of authentication, encryption, and digital signatures and how to detect and mitigate security threats. We’ll also discuss the technical aspects of security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management.
