IS 4K NOT ACTUALLY 4K? (EP.310)
There's a lot of creative marketing being done when it comes to saying something is 4K. Just because it can see the signal doesn't mean it is actually 4K when it comes to the resulting display of signal or the recording. This has been going on for ages in the monitor world but it seems to have creeped into the capture device market as well. Today I talk about my 4K input woes and another device, the OSEE GOSTREAM M2), that clearly states it can capture in 4K (3840x2160), but clearly doesn't.
