"No Fear" Mary Mihara
I've been working on this song for quite a while now, and I'm so excited to finally share it with you during these times. I write this song from my own experience, as someone who has grown up listening to 100s of hours of Christian teaching that we're not supposed to fear, and that worry is a sin. Yet when I faced my own real fight with fear, it was not as easy as quoting a scripture a few times and moving on. What was worse, I felt condemned because of my struggle. But God is always faithful. He walks this thing out with me, as He also does with you. This is what I've learned over the past few years.
There's no easy button when fighting fear, but by God's grace, we absolutely have the power to overcome it, moment by moment, one small decision after another--meeting every (yes, EVERY) evil thought with a prompt "NO!" and by remembering what God says instead.
