Augmented Reality application in Tourist Places (Hampi)
This video demonstrates the application of Augmented Reality in a tourist place (Hampi, Karnataka..in this case).
The app has a knowledge base of the significant places inside Hampi. When the camera sees a place from the database, it recognize the place and displays the data about the place with user interaction.
The app also estimates the current location of the user and provides a map to the destination(Hampi). This feature will be useful when the image trigger was done using a picture of Hampi, instead of being in the actual place.
