Tim Morgon "Take A Look Around" aka "Trampas' Theme"
Doug McClure was all over your TV if you turned it on in the 60's and 70's. He was working non-stop in cool and exciting TV shows ("SEARCH")...TV movies ("SATAN'S TRIANGLE")...theatrical movies, ("AT THE EARTH'S CORE")...and finally, drive-in movies, ("HUMANOIDS FROM THE DEEP").
But something happened around 1980 and he lost his legitimate leading-man status. He was reduced to appearing in Z-grade movies and mostly lesser roles in episodic TV. His career ended as it had started exactly forty years before with syndicated TV.
Nonetheless, his star never set for me. You watch a good episode of "THE VIRGINIAN" like "Ride A Dark Trail" and you, too, will be a fan for life.
