E-Auction of coal linkage-Coal India ltd
Coal linkage for consumers of different non-regulated sectors like cement, steel etc as well as captive power plants were taken up after determination of availability of coal and demand in these sectors. Through this process, coal linkages have been finalized in a transparent and non-discriminatory manner. On one hand, it has helped consumers who did not have any linkage and on the other, it has also helped Coal India in getting consumers for its coal in a win-win process.
