How to Plant Tulip Bulbs

Before planting, choose a sunny, well-draining site. Dig and loosen the soil. The required depth for planting tulip bulbs is 5 to 6 inches. Afterward, apply fertilizer, either organic compost or a slow-release chemical fertilizer specifically for bulbs.
