Slipknot Medley Drum Audition/Tribute
Long time no se guys!
I decided in the wake of Joey Jordison's departure from Slipknot that it was time for a come-back. Considering how saddening and confusing the news still is, this video for me is a mash up of emotion and statement of the impact the music has.
Considering that no official audition for Joey's replacement is happening (publicly at least), this is my contribution to those that already played amicably in their posted videos here on youtube. As much honor and respect I have for Joey, Slipknot and the influence the made on me and the rest of the world, as well as whatever is happening behind the scenes, I felt that I needed to make this video.
No matter what happens, this will also be my tribute to Joey for the wholehearted work he put into the music over the years that I and so many others hold dear.
The songs featured in this video are some of my favorites for different reasons, most are songs that I have never covered before, while others I have performed in (much) older videos. The songs are as follows:

I should also add that no triggering was used in the making of the video/sound, the sound is au naturale (with the exception of some EQ and compression).
And yes, as you may have noticed, I have moved my kit once again, in a slightly more cramped space (where my cymbals do not thrive...)
