Playing Gwent well doesn't necessarily require knowing why it's good. While Gwent is a game with a lot of complexities, you can boil down a lot of the gameplay to a simple outline. This outline does NOT hold true for every deck or meta BUT does hold true for many of them. This video in particular is designed for people just joining Gwent that desire to sharpen their gameplay quickly. As you play following this outline, you'll quickly see why it works so well.
