So 3 months ago, due to some of you guys demand, I uploaded a video, titled How to apply as a public school teacher here in Canada. where I tackled a step-by step process from verifying your qualifications to registering in the Smartfind express which is the system used by school boards here to hire an occasional/substitute teachers.
After watching that video, apparently, some of you got curious about how much a regular classroom teacher here, make. And thats my goal for today! Just so you have an idea about it, I am making this content! Again, as I mentioned in my previous video, I wanna make this clear to you, that if you are a newly certified teacher here, the kind of position you will be getting is a Supply or others call it Occasional. In my home country in the Philippines we call it Substitute teacher.
