Contact UPI app support
According to RBI (Reserve Bank of India) guidelines, a user should first report the issue of unintentional transaction with the payment service provider.
Raise the issue in the customer care support of GPay, PhonePe, Paytm or the UPI app through which you transferred the money.
The service providers have their own mechanism to provide support to customers.
You can flag your issue and ask for a refund.
➡️File complaint in NPCI portal
If the customer service of the UPI apps doesn't offer much help, you can also file a complaint at the NPCI portal.
Go to NPCI official website npci.org.in
1) Now click on 'What we do tab'
2) And then tap on UPI
3) Next tap and open select Dispute Redressal Mechanism
