CORNHOLE BOARD JIG FOR EVERYTHING, 10 minutes per Board
From start to finish it will take you 10 minutes to build the cornhole frame, attach it to the tops, and install the legs. This simple jig is easy to make and use, and once you do you can bust out your boards in very little time. This is a cornhole leg jig, and frame and top jig all in one. The leg jig is explained in the 2nd part of this video and is a pretty easy assembly.

Build the frame jig based on your tops and frame size, same with the leg jig.

Making the Jig:
1. Lay your cornhole top down on a flat surface
2. Measure all four sides and cut your straight 2x to those measurements, make sure you add inches for the overlap length in the corners. Make your sides about 1/2" longer than your tops so the jig can come done properly.
3. Assemble those four pieces into a rectangle and make sure it is square. Dry fit onto your top
4. Now we will need to cut the spacers for the inset frame. Take a assembled frame and lay it on the top as you would normally. Align it properly to where you normally install it. on your top.
5. You should have a gap between the jig frame and the cornhole frame. Measure that gap, I have found the Kreg multi-mark helpful for this type of measurement. https://amzn.to/3lQpbq6
6. You will need to cut a piece of wood to fit that distance, do so and install that all the way around. When you install this piece (the white piece in the video) This piece serves two functions.
A. Holds the top down flat to the surface
B. Properly spaces the frame around the top.
You may need to use some washers as spacers when you build the frame to fine tune the layout
7. Attach the piano hinge to the wood frame and the wall that you are using, you can also use this without a hinge and just place the jig on the top. Just ensure is is tight and doesn't move during assembly.
Building the leg jig:
Materials
(2) 1x material for the sides about 10" long
(2) 2x pieces about 23" long to set inside the frame

Washers to use as spacers
Appropriate length screws
Tips:
Leave enough room to be able to open and close the jig, snug but not so tight you cannot lift it.
Inset your frames, this will make it easier to assemble
When you are assembling the boards, start in one corner and make that on tight and square, secure the frame to the top and to the other side of the frame. Then work you way around the rest of the frame.
