What’s New in HyperLynx 2409: data management in EDM
The latest HyperLynx release introduces enhanced integration with Siemens Enterprise Data Management (EDM) tools, expanding support for pre-layout simulations. Users can now create a LineSim schematic directly at the board level and manage the unique LineSim data type independently in the simulation data folder, providing greater flexibility for collaboration. When exporting a net from BoardSim to LineSim, users are prompted to store it in the data folder, and new check-in structures and reporting capabilities allow for selective sharing of simulation data. Reports can be stored on the cloud with EDM collaboration features, making them accessible to engineers without needing to extract the entire HyperLynx project. The release also adds a new command for usability, allowing users to open CCE files directly from the latest simulation database in either HyperLynx or Xpedition. These features make managing HyperLynx data within EDM more efficient and collaborative.
