ISRO’s Aditya L1 Reached Final Destination

On Saturday, 6 January, ISRO performed the final manoeuvre to inject Aditya-L1 spacecraft -- the first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun -- into its final destination orbit, some 1.5 million kilometres from the Earth.
The Aditya-L1 spacecraft on Saturday completed a 127-day journey to reach its final parking spot.
Aditya-L1 will have a mission life of at least five years and findings collated in this period will be significant.
