TWRP allows you to:
Install unofficial firmware
Create a firmware backup
Restore data from a previously created backup
Perform a factory reset (Wipe – data/factory reset), wipe cache, wipe Dalvik cache
Format and create partitions on the memory card.
Before flashing the phone, I recommend making a backup, just in case something goes wrong.
The process of updating the firmware to a non-original version is quite simple. Select "Install," select the drive containing the firmware, and slide the slider to start the update process.
Sometimes an error occurs during the update process. The easiest solution is to "clean" the firmware using the corresponding option in the TWRP menu. Then, try flashing the firmware again.
