Burnt ends have commonly been made from a smoked brisket. But people have been making burnt ends from all different cuts of meat. In this weeks video I decided to make burnt end by smoking a delicious chuck roast on my reverse flow offset smoker.

What you'll find in this video will be well worth the watch. I show you my method for making some awesome burnt ends. I use a chuck roast which is a great option. I will go through how to properly trim the chuck roast for how I prefer to do chuck roast.
As well as trimming I show you a great method for using beef tallow to cook your burnt ends. This method will give you amazing results. I used my offset smoker to cook these amazing burnt ends. I tried maintaining the temperature of my offset smoker between 240-275 degrees.
Once the beef burnt ends had a really nice crust formed I took them out and submerged them into a pan of beef tallow. I let them cook in the beef tallow until they were extremely tender. Once i put the burnt ends in beef tallow back on the smoker I dropped the temperature of my offset smoker down to 200 degrees so these burnt ends would cook in the tallow nice and slow.
Lastly I will show you an awesome recipe for a BBQ sauce I like to use. So you wont want to miss this video.
