DIY Leather Gift Bag Handbag | Complete Leathercraft Tutorial
This is another process video from pajust crafts on how to make this paper shop bag inspired handbag design from pajust designs. Materials:
The bag is made with 2 mm chrome tanned anilin full grain calfskin leather.
The dimensions are 24 cm x 22 cm x 10 cm.
The materials you need for the bag:
. 0.6 mm Texon board for bag body reinforcement
. Non-woven self-adhesive backing for bag handle reinforcement
. 4 x 15 mm inner spacing square handle connector.
. Edge paint of your choice (I used Giardini)
. 2 x 25 mm inner spacing swivel bolt snap for the shoulder strap connector.
. 2 x 1.5 mm inner spacing D-ring for shoulder strap connector.
. Lining material of your choice. I used 1 mm thick suede leather.
. 5 mm zipper and zipper pull for inner zipper pocket.
. 10 mm diameter polyester rope for the tubular handle inlay.
. 4 x 10mm bag feet.
. 25 mm inner spacing roller buckle for shoulder strap adjustment.
. a mini spring bag lock.
. Body art - Angelus acrylic leather paint and 2 thin
. Finishing - Angelus matt finisher
Note: The bag is handstitched and stitch holes are marked on the pattern. However, the inner lining is stitched with machine.
Machine stitched parts are not marked.
