In the 1990's there was a revolt against Chicago's Zip Code for all the wrong reasons. Why? Because the Zip Code turning into something it was never meant to be. It became a tool for good but also corporate exploitation. This revolt resulted in Chicago having three different Zip Code prefixes. 606, 607 and 608.
