In the summer of 2007, Scientist, Nutritionist, Teacher, German-born Christian Opitz invited Mitchell to join him at a retreat he was giving at a Monastery atop a mountain in Malibu, CA.
The two had met at an Ashram just outside of Chennai, India a couple of years before as we both entered a "process of enlightenment" as spoken of and taught by Sri Bhagavan of Oneness University.
I had been invited to interview Sri Bhagavan and his top monks and nuns known as 'dasas'. During my second visit there, Christian was there too and we two became good friends, as we sensed that we were in the "engine room" of a new blast of consciousness spreading throughout the world.
We have both continued this 'blasting' in our own respective ways over these years, and one example can be seen in this interview at this retreat.
Christian Opitz is a delightfully brilliant, holistic thinker which comes across in this and other interviews I've done with him available on this channel.
