Using Schema Compare Option in SSDT ( Sql server data tools)
SQL server data tools is a great way of ensuring that code is consistent across builds. One of the most frequently used features of SQL server data tools with regard to database is the schema comparison tool. The schema comparison tool allows us to compare code present within visual studio against code that is already deployed on a database. It has sufficient checks and balances to ensure the data is not corrupted or mistakenly deleted during deployments. SQL server code and schema comparison is one of the ways visual studio is able to ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment.
