History will be made - Connor Clifton - 05/12/2019
Connor Clifton, a 5th round pick by the Phoenix Coyotes back in 2013, made his NHL debut on November 16th 2018 against the Stars.
In his first EVER NHL Game he stepped up against no other than Veteran Jason Spezza in an unequal fight. (5'11'' / 174 lbs vs 6'3'' / 214 lbs) Clifton still got the takedown.
He would add an assist in the following 18 regular season games before heading into the playoffs. Clifton would record two more assists (Game 5 + 6 against Columbus) and score his first NHL Goal in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Carolina Hurricanes.
He became the Bruins 19th different goal scorer in the 2019 NHL Playoffs, tying the franchise mark for most in a single playoff (19 in 1988)
