Appalachia Sessions, in partnership with Wynn Group and East Tennessee Historical Society, bring music and heritage to the youth of the Appalachia region by showcasing artists linked to this fantastic area. Displaying how artists from all walks of life in the Appalachian region tell their stories through music to inspire the next generation.
OUR MISSION! To inspire and equip the underserved students of Appalachia to become influencers, educated men and women who break cycles of poverty, causing exponential impact.
OUR VISION! We believe in an Appalachia where outside charities are no longer needed because children who break cycles of poverty are leading the fights that prevent millions of other children from suffering what they did.
WHAT WE DO! We believe that lasting change comes from within. We know that Appalachian children born into poverty are not a problem to be solved but a solution waiting to be unleashed. Through our culture and history, we inspire Appalachian students and equip them to be adults of influence.
HOW WE DO IT! We leverage the power of our music and museums, providing transformative experiences that impact and inspire children to achieve educational excellence. We back these experiences up by partnering with high-impact local leaders and organizations to educate and equip children to become changemakers in their Appalachian communities and beyond.
