Shooting With Movement
Capture and include all of the following movements:
1______Panning (side to side)
Have the camera turn to move with the action in the scene.
(The camera should pivot to do this)
2______Tilt (up and down)
Base of the camera is fixed as the camera moves from bottom to top.
3______Following the Subject (you are behind the subject with the camera)
vs
4______Leading the Subject (you are in front of the subject with the camera)
5______Truck (Move the entire camera from left to right.)
It's best to have a track or slider for this for fluid motion.
6______Zoom—Zoom towards the subject with lens only.
7______Rack Focus/Pull Focus (only do this if you have a camera with manual focus)
Blurry to sharp just using the focus of the lens without zooming the lens. You will not be counted off if you do not include this shot.
8______Dolly (traditionally, the camera is on a “dolly” or something with wheels)
Move the camera towards the subject camera. (no zoom)

3______Digital Rack/Pull Focus Edit a video clip with NO camera movement in Adobe Premiere to appear as if you are going from out of focus to in focus. Please see the tutorial below.
4______Slow motion—shoot some action at a high frame rate (60fps or higher) Go to your Settings and change the frame rate to 60fps or higher.
