GPS location variation with camera positioning
The video shows the positions recorded for 4 repeat tracks over the same route, with the camera in two different positions – one mounted inside the car on the dashboard, the other mounted outside the car on the bonnet. The bonnet-mounted positions are judged to be more accurate and precise than those obtained when the camera was dashboard-mounted.
