RUST - The Fortress - Rust Solo-Duo Bunker Base Design (2020)
The Fortress is a multi-purpose solo-duo bunker base design with a number of features. 2 main lootrooms and 2 secondary lootrooms. 360 degree autoturret coverage with 2 entrances as well as roof access. An optional bunker entrance which can be added at any stage of the build. A fully automated raid notification system and undrainable shotgun traps. Whilst the Fortress is designed as a solo-duo base design it can be used as a solo-trio base design or for larger groups if required... bare in mind however that it's difficult to fit more than the 2 beds into the "bunker" section of the base. Bunker base designs are difficult to come by as Facepunch tend to catch on to bunker methods and patch them rather quickly making them redundant so the bunker in this base design is entirely optional and the base can still be used without it.
The Fortress will take a minimum of 27 Rockets to raid directly to the Tool Cupboard if taking the cheapest path. This can be increased rather easily with more honeycomb but we’ll keep to the cheapest base for this video. I may create a tougher version of this base in the future - be sure to leave a like and comment if this is something you’d like to see.
Rust base designs need to ensure that they are strong and with this rust base building tutorial i will show you some great rust tips and tricks as well as some rust advance building tricks.
This rust base design is a “starter to main” build meaning it’s built in stages and is expandable - you can live out of the starter and expand the base in stages as and when you have the resources to do so.
