The HMHS Britannic was one of Titanic's sister ships that was converted into a hospital ship during World War I and sank during the war after hitting a naval mine. Thirty lives were lost. Britannic was the largest of the Olympic class and was initially planned to be the most luxurious as well. Unfortunately, she never got to sail with her luxury fittings.
