Join us on an incredible journey as we embark on creating a breathtaking recreation pond! 🌟This is Project 2 of of 2024 Part 3/5. In the 3rd episode we have our final battle with heavy rains, begin our sundeck, beach and intake bay as well as details, details, details!
Our vision brings to life a giant recreation pond measuring roughly 45' x 25' and 6.5' deep, divided into distinct areas: a deep zone, an intermediate depth, and a spacious beach area. This pond will be equipped with an efficient intake bay, jets spread throughout for optimal water movement, and two powerful 18,000 GPH external pumps with VFDs for optimal performance, along with a wetland filter for crystal-clear water.
Other cool features of this ambitious project include:
-Boulder stairs leading to the driveway through retaining walls
-A stepping stone path leading to dramatic jumping boulders
-Massive boulders for an interactive experience
-A 25-foot stream and waterfall with over a 5-foot height change
-17 underwater lights to create a magical nighttime atmosphere
