Sunday Stichera of the 8th Tone
A brief overview of the tone scheme. Then, three voices perform the stichera on "Lord, I have cried" (this also includes the Dogmatikon), the "Stichonas," the "Praises," with the Gospel stichera and the troparion of the tone (which is usually performed after the Great Doxology in the second troparion tone, but it is also common to perform this troparion in the current sticheron tone).
All three voices are clearly audible and distinguishable, so I have not analyzed each voice separately, as in the troparion tones. The tone markings and the overall performance of the chants may, of course, differ depending on the singing tradition or in different churches. This is natural; it is part of the creative process. ❤️
