The Florida Hometown Heroes housing program was designed to help people who serve, protect, provide, assist, heal, and keep the cities running. It is less than a year old and has already assisted 5535 families purchase a home in 2022. The Live Local Act will serve to expand the reach of the down payment assistance and give everyone who has been renting for the last 3 years, an opportunity to buy in the community in which they work.
