AID Virtual cockpit AS-791E VW Passat B8 electronic board transfer setup.
This tutorial shows how to transplant the OEM electronic board (PCB) from analog gauge cluster to Audiosources virtual cockpit (AID) model AS-791E (VW Passat B8).Same procedure is done for AS-791D - compatible with Golf7.1. There are 2 different OEM cluster suppliers: VDO/Continental and Johnson Controls (JCI). Internal PCB have some layout differences.2. JCI clusters PCB will fit Plug & Play, just need to fix it with 4 screws.3.
