Altium Designer Quick Start - Lesson 9: Setting Up Layers and Board Stackup
This lesson continues working with the board and examines the design phase, which involves defining the board's structural parameters. At this stage, the board structure (stack) is configured, determining the number and order of PCB layers. As is well known, board design involves working with multiple layers, including not only signal layers and the dielectrics between them, but also paste layers, masks, silkscreen, and many other mechanical layers. This lesson also covers via types, which are also related to board structure.
