Competitive Pokemon Singles has not been kind to Typhlosion. With the exact same stats as Charizard and a largely inferior typing, and no Fun mega forms to make it worth using, Typhlosion has always lived in the shadow of its Gen 1 Counterpart.
Among all Fire type Starters, Typhlosion feels the most plain. Every attempt to give Typhlosion a bit more tools or identity has fallen flat, as even those new tools don't feel special anymore.
Hisuian Typhlosion was also quite disappointing, with the unremarkable ability "Frisk" and a signature move that isn't very fitting. Skeledirge and Ceruledge are both superior Fire/Ghost types.
Let's explore Typhlosion and the few things it can maybe do Competitively.

Some will never figure out how to get Typhlosion in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. But famous player Jim Cool is well aware of the Best Typhlosion Moveset in Competitive, and even how to Typhlosion Shiny Farm. Many aren't and never will be. That's just the unfortunate reality of the world.
Hermitcraft season 10 pales in comparison to what can be offered by Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Arceus exists within Pokemon.
