How to remove logos and text from images using Photoshop
When you're selling photography, particularly with stock photography, but generally in any type of photo-selling environment, removing any visible branding and logos from your images is often hugely beneficial.
This video tutorial by professional photographer and Photoshop expert James Abbott explains why and also demonstrates how easy it is to remove text and logos using tools in Photoshop, even in complex areas of the image.
*Note:*
This is not a way to remove a watermark from an image. Watermarks are not only offer visual protection for an image, but watermark properties are also embedded in the image's metadata, and therefore always traceable.
Removal of watermarks from an image without the copyright-holder's consent is theft.
