WT BEST MASTER: SIFU TASSOS
Dai-Sifu Panagiotopoulos (Anastasios) Tassos was born in Greece in 1958 and at the age of 8, he started learning other styles of martial-arts. He migrated with his family to Germany when he was 14 years old. After some years of training in martial arts in Germany, a friend showed him the Leung Ting Wing Tsun system (WT). Since that day he concentrated only on the study of this martial art. His teachers were Sifu K.R. Kernspecht and GM Leung Ting. In the year of 1986, Dai-Sifu Tassos became the WT chief-instructor of the EWTO for Greece. He was the first Greek who reached such a high level at that period. Achieving the 6th master-degree (Practician) he reached one of the highest levels that had been awarded to a student at that time. In 20 years of the EWTO membership he helped to expand WT all over the world and presented it on big festivals. Budo Gala 1991 and 1995 were some of them, where he performed in front of an audience of 15.000 people. Between the public were some famous Hollywood actors and they wanted to take some photos with sifu Tassos with great pleasure.
