Why We Started Rhumbix
Founded in 2014, Rhumbix was born out of the challenges faced on a mega mining project in the Atacama Desert in Chile where Rhumbix CEO, Zach Scheel, was charged with processing paper time cards for thousands of craft workers. Successfully managing this daily process proved to be a daunting task. This experience highlighted the need for digitizing and managing vast amounts of information efficiently.
With the increasing availability of construction technology solutions, contractors now face the challenge of selecting the right tools that integrate seamlessly with their existing systems. Rhumbix aims to simplify this process by providing technology solutions that promote consolidation and standardization, helping contractors optimize their investments and enhance productivity.
Rhumbix's core objective is to enhance labor productivity and performance measurement by prioritizing timekeeping and other critical field-level reporting workflows.
