In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to easily implement counterbalancing in your online PsychoPy experiments using Shelf on Pavlovia.
Counterbalancing is an essential technique to avoid order effects in your experimental conditions. As of PsychoPy 2024.1.5, Shelf has introduced a new component that simplifies this process (without needing code components) — but for now, this tutorial focuses on interacting with Shelf via code components.
