sParksAdventure goes beyond the beauty to look at the science and history behind Yellowstone National Park. We look at how Magma Chambers combine with ground water to produce hydrothermal features that amaze visitors and scientists around the world. Geysers, fumaroles, mud pots and hot springs make Yellowstone a place like no other. Celebrating 150 years, Yellowstone was the first area to be protected as a National Park. We speak with Dr. Madison Myers of Montana State University to see how these thermal features are formed and learn about Yellowstone's unique ecosystem. Hosted by Kellum Dean, sParksAdventure is part of the Travelparkourist educational video series - filmed on location around the world we look at the geology, ecology and history of some amazing National Parks.
