The goal of allometric scaling is to predict the pharmacokinetics in humans to plan first-in-human trials, by extrapolating PK parameters from preclinical trials in other species to humans. A common approach is to use a power law relationship between the parameters and the typical body weight of the species.
This can be done in MonolixSuite by adding the body weight as covariate in the model developed on the pre-clinical data with either fixed or estimated coefficient. The project is next exported to Simulx where one just has to adjust the body weight to the human value in order to simulate human PK for different dosing regimens.
This video shows on example using monkey data.
