Hurricane, from our 2007 CD "Can Life Be So Simple" is our second "original rehearsal rough" video. John & Bill get together for 5-6 hours most weeks to snack, practice originals, maybe WRITE originals, and maybe learn a cover or two. Often we decide to shoot a quick "rough" video for posterity! Look for the studio version of this one in the "music videos" section here, or on pretty much all streaming platforms!
John Gates - Taylor 514 CE, guitar and lead vocals
Bill Goodell - Collings MT, mandolin and harmony vocals

Got my rainhat on, slicker tattered and worn
I walk out my door, but there's no sign of a storm...
... no sign of a storm
Gotta be flexible, with a girl like you
When the wind blows hard, I need something to hold...
... hold onto
It's bound to be a hurricane, oo oo, with the likes of you
So unpredictable... weathervane spins, it's dangerous, falling...
... falling for you
I need a barrometer to forecast your moods
and thinking like a man, surely I'll end up...
... end up bruised
It's bound to be a hurricane, oo oo, with the likes of you
So unpredictable... weathervane spins, it's dangerous, falling...
... falling for
oo ooo, oo ooo, oo oooo, oo oo oo ooooo
It's bound to be a hurricane, oo oo, with the likes of you
So unpredictable... weathervane spins, it's dangerous, falling...
... woah falling... falling for.... it's bound to be a hurricane.
