If you enjoy community, fresh air, and BBQ well our next episode of Keepin' it local is sure to please. The lovely Burgundy Clark of The Semerenko Team brings us an inside look at a hometown favorite, owned by Mano and Mei Mei Lujan.
Red House BBQ started as a roadside stand in Tehachapi in 2007 where they began participating in local events and backyard BBQs which then led to corporate events and even film production catering. In 2010 they opened their storefront on East Tehachapi Blvd.
One thing Mano and Mei Mei try to instill in their staff is community spirit and giving back. They employ mainly high school students and feel that it is a great first step into the work field.
Not only does their food set them apart from the rest but, their location is such an incredible experience.
