Today we're talking about flat tax. What is a flat tax?
It's a tax system that adopts a fixed rate different from the progressive personal income tax rate we're all familiar with.
Currently, the flat tax system is reserved for VAT-registered individuals with a flat-rate tax regime, ranging from 5% to 15%, depending on the taxpayer's characteristics.
But there's a new measure included in the budget that would extend the flat tax to other taxpayer categories, not just flat-rate taxpayers.
