Recoloring white objects in Adobe Photoshop
White objects are usually the hardest to colorize, because lacking a grey tone to latch, we need to reacreate darkness in order to use the Colorize box in Hue / Saturation.
With this simple trick you will be able to preserve the white shines and reflections even when you want to recolor from white to any dark tone.
