Week 6: 2D Diagramming of Parametric Process - Computational Methods: Fall 2012
This video describes a method for creating 2D diagrams to explain how a Grasshopper script generates a form. I use Make2D and simple renderings from Rhinoceros and export these into Illustrator for adjustments to lineweights and line types.
The underlying premise of this exercise is that showing someone code does not provide a useful explanation of how a parametric system works. By learning to create informative process diagrams, we can better communicate with clients and each other our design intent.
